My passion is helping clients improve their overall physical health and wellbeing through Pilates. We focus on increasing stability, strength, mobility, balance, and postural alignment. The Pilates apparatus supports your body to keep impact on joints low, while spring tension can be adjusted to a weight that challenges each individual. Whether training for an event, recovering from an injury, or wanting to stay fit to chase your kids/grandkids around, Pilates can be tailored to your specific goals.

Pre/Post Natal Pilates I have never been more grateful for Pilates than I was during and after my two pregnancies. It is one of the best ways to safely support your body through the changes that accompany each trimester to prepare your body for childbirth. The traditional Pilates repertoire can be adapted to your changing body to maintain, and even build, strength as you progress through your pregnancy. Exercises are selected to specifically address posture, spinal mobility, pelvic stability, breathing, deep core and pelvic floor health. These assist with a more comfortable pregnancy, easier delivery, and faster recovery postpartum.

After baby arrives Pilates is an excellent way to ease your body back into movement. It helps to rebuild strength, posture, mental well-being, and more specific concerns such as diastasis recti and pelvic floor issues.

Scoliosis Having experienced personal discomfort and challenges from my scoliosis, I was inspired to pursue further education in applying Pilates to work with scoliotic clients. The Pilates apparatus is so effective at providing support to the spine, and the exercises are modified to each client’s body. Our goal is to lengthen and de-rotate spinal curvature while strengthening postural muscles to support this change. Breathing is incorporated to increase space internally, helping to improve spinal curvature and compression.
